NYC & NY SKYRIDE Goes Orange for charity
New York sightseeing becomes philanthropic as NY SKYRIDE sponsors a food drive and offers $22.00 in admission savings!

NY SKYRIDE is committed to supporting the city it celebrates. From October 20-December 22 only, NY SKYRIDE, located in the Empire State Building, is working together with the Food Bank For New York City to collect canned goods for hungry New Yorkers. The Food Bank For New York City provides the food for 300,000 free meals served daily to New Yorkers in need. At least 1.3 million New York City residents are at risk of going hungry. The majority of them are women and children, the elderly, people with disabilities and the working poor. During the Food Bank's annual NYC Goes Orange campaign, individual New Yorkers and partners come together to "Go Orange" — the color of hunger awareness — to help hungry New Yorkers throughout the city.
To support this cause, NY SKYRIDE guests will be able to purchase admission tickets for only $14.00 – a $22.00 savings – provided they bring in a can of food and the website downloadable certificate.
Non-perishables can be deposited in Food Bank Donation bins located at the NY SKYRIDE. The top ten most needed items include canned beans, milk, fruit, vegetable, juice, meat, fish, soup, stew and peanut butter.
Click and print the Food Drive Appreciation Certificate that, combined with a can of food donated at the NY SKYRIDE Box Office, allows you to purchase a NY SKYRIDE admission ticket for only $14.00 at the front door. These specially priced tickets cannot be purchased online.
Remember, you must bring the certificate and a can of food to qualify for this special price.
Additionally, donations to the Food Bank For New York City can be made at their website. Click here to donate today!
