Student Group Tours of NYC at the NY SKYRIDE!

Not only are we a great NYC tourist attraction but our new NY City and State approved school curriculums for grades 6-12 make us one of the most creative and exciting NYC Educational Group Tours.  These brand new and interactive curriculums are FREE and downloadable from our site by clicking on School Curriculums. 

Educators as well as international or domestic student group tours will enjoy the fun and educational elements of the NY SKYRIDE. Our NY City and State approved  curriculums include activities for pre-visit, on-site in New York or post-visit assignment.  Also look for our new Walking Tours of the area – also downloadable!  All of the curricula meet New York State Learning Standards in the areas of Social Studies with an emphasis on New York History, Geography, Human Geography and Economics. Several of the curricula connect to New York State Standards of Learning in the area of Mathematics.

All of the curricula create the opportunity for students to use original documents, do individual research, expand their visual literacy, use map skills and engage in teamwork as well as include the use of relevant literature, music and works of art.

The NY SKYRIDE virtual tour simulator gives students a unique perspective of the city that is not possible to gain in any other way.  While employing both the motion portion of the SKYRIDE experience and the 80’ mural, ‘180 Degrees of New York’, all of the curricula include activities for the classroom, for New York City and for the community.
